The BSSC Inter Level Syllabus and Exam Pattern 2023 are important for the candidates who want to appear for the Bihar SSC Inter-Level Examination 2023. The exam will be conducted by the Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) to fill 11,098 vacancies in various posts1. The exam will be held in two stages: the Preliminary Exam and the Main Exam. The syllabus and exam pattern for both the stages are given below:
Preliminary Exam
The Preliminary Exam will consist of 150 objective type questions, each carrying 4 marks. There will be a negative marking of 1/4th marks for each wrong answer. The duration of the exam will be 2 hours and 15 minutes. The questions will be based on the following subjects:
- General Studies: 50 questions, 200 marks
- General Science and Mathematics: 50 questions, 200 marks
- Mental Ability Test (Comprehension/ Logic/ Reasoning/ Mental Ability): 50 questions, 200 marks
The total marks for the Preliminary Exam will be 600.
Main Exam
The Main Exam will consist of two papers: Paper-1 and Paper-2. Each paper will have a duration of 2 hours and 15 minutes. The questions will be objective type, each carrying 4 marks. There will be a negative marking of 1/4th marks for each wrong answer. The subjects and marks distribution for each paper are as follows:
- Paper-1: General Awareness/ Hindi language: 100 questions, 400 marks
- Paper-2: Mental ability/logical reasoning: 50 questions, 200 marks
- Paper-2: General mathematics/science: 100 questions, 400 marks
The total marks for the Main Exam will be 1000.
